Score a Goal in Five Steps Tracker - Plan and Track Any Goal Using a Simple, Two Page, Digital/ Printable Work Sheet or 24 Page Journal
Score a Goal in Five Steps Tracker. Digital or Printable Worksheet. |
Completing any complex task or project can be made simple by breaking it down into smaller, more manageable steps. If you're the kind of person who does this, and likes to see more measurable results than just ticking off tasks on a to do list, then my Score a Goal in Five Steps Tracker may be for you.
This Five Step Tracker is a two page digital or printable worksheet that you can fill in anytime you have a complex task that you want to track your progress on. If you find the format useful there's also a 24 page, 5"x8" journal version so you can track multiple goals.
To use the Five Step Tracker, write your Goal/Project in the top box of the first page. Next break this down into five smaller steps and write those into the boxes provided.
If any of the five steps are still quite complex tasks on their own then there is room to break each step down into up to five additional sub steps. Write these in the boxes provided.
Open the PDF digital version of the worksheet in Adobe Reader. Fill in the form fields and save the document as you go. |
If you need to add more detail about any step or sub step use the second page to add more information by writing down the step and sub step number in the first column, and then writing the additional information in the second column.
Each main step represents 20% of your goal. Each sub step is worth 4% of that step completed. If you have less than five sub steps for any goal, then the last sub step is worth the difference needed to make the total of each sub step equal 20%. Steps do not have to be completed in order.
A fully completed worksheet should total 100%. At any time you can see the percentage completed so far by simply totaling up the steps that have been finished.
The worksheet is sold as two PDF files. One for use digitally, with Adobe Reader (which is available to download for free), and includes all the form fields necessary to fill in the worksheet on any compatible device. The other PDF is optimized for printing. Both pages can be printed side by side on a single A4 sized page in landscape orientation.
Soft Cover Journal also available. |
Also available, but sold separately, is a twenty four page 5"x8" printed journal version for anyone that would like to save on toner ink, or just wants to track multiple projects without have to carry around a bunch of loose leaf pages. The journal has room for eleven goals.
Using a goal planner/tracker can help you become more purposeful about achieving a goal or completing a project. It's a visual way to hold yourself accountable and to see how close you are to success.
The Score a Goal in Five Steps Tracker is not designed to plan your entire future. Use it when you have a task or goal that you want to be a little more methodical in bringing to completion.
Available from my Koji, Art Time Printables Store. The Journal is available from my Blurb Book Store.
