It's easy to be cynical about the recent launch of the iPad 2. Maybe the original iPad had a rounded back and space for a camera deliberately so the back could be flattened and a camera added when the iPad 2 was released without Apple having to redesign anything?

In other words maybe original iPad could have been 33% thinner and include a camera right from the get go? Only Steve and the boffins at Apple really know for sure. I suspect the camera was left off as a cost cutting measure until Apple were sure they had a market for the iPad. Despite the buzz surrounding the originals launch you can never be 100% sure if a product is going to tank or not.

Apple has become a lot like Google these days. Both used to be the cool companies that everyone would work for (and we could collectively curse the sins of Microsoft with) but both are fast following in the original evil corporate giants footsteps. A company people either love to love or love to hate for no logical or rational reason.

Apple's products are specifically designed for ease of use. It's one of the reasons they've done so well without having to pack in more features than anyone else in the market. It's that reputation that gives the impression that Apple converts will buy anything with an Apple logo on it. I mean why would you buy an iPad when there are other tablets with more features and flash capable? It doesn't make sense to non Apple fans.

This makes Apple and Steve Jobs something of an easy target for parody and it got me to thinking, what if Steve Jobs isn't quite the genius we all imagine? Sure he's great at presentations but what if he's the idiot... uh... 'test subject' that Apple design all their products for. If Steve can't use it then it goes straight back to the drawing board.

I'm Confused About Why People Prefer to Say Discombobulated?

D iscombobulated. Is a word that I think someone rediscovered about three or four years ago (maybe more because the pandemic years have thrown out my sense of time) and now I hear it a lot. It's not a new word by any means, but when I started hearing multiple celebrities using it in everyday sentences, I actively had to look up what it meant. He was discombobulated by too many choices. He was confused by too many choices. My confusion is the length of the word. It's unnecessarily long with too many syllables. The Princess' Butterflies - Using an AI Image to Video Generator to Animate Art That Started as a 23 Year Old Rough Pen Sketch

B ack in October of 2023 I used Prome AI's Sketch Rendering feature to color a 23 year old rough pen sketch I did of a princess watching butterflies, sitting next to a waterfall in the forest. I hope the American people, who voted for President Trump, get the full experience of what they thought they voted for along with what they're actually getting. Boom Crash Opera Born Classic But Not Again

Boom Crash Opera are an Australian Band that reached the peak of their popularity in the mid to late nineteen eighties. They are a band that I knew about at that time but was never really excited by until they released their ill fated double album Born and Born Again in 1995 (Album cover pictured). At the time of its release I was very much into emerging Australian musical acts and was also looking out for new sounds that were different and had kind of a futuristic/electronic sound. Artists that I was buying at the time included; Swoop , Nine Inch Nails and Pop Will Eat Its Self . As well as a really interesting release by David Bowie, the concept album, Outside . Born was a fairly radical departure for Boom Crash Opera (BCO).
